Hope everyone is keeping their cool.. by the pool, or otherwise! Take a moment to chill with with your fish. Check their tank temperatures and adjust either the room temperature or heater temperature to get them "in the zone". Endlers, gups and pals can generally tolerate between 68 - 84F, but if shrimp on board, you'll want to stay around 74-76F. Remember, the hotter the heat, the shorter their lifespan. EMERGENCY TIP for summer power outage: Tank too hot? Get ICE and place it into quart size freeze bags. Close bags up tight, and then float in the tank until the temp is where it should be. Maintain temperature by monitoring and adding ice as needed until power resume. And don't forget to shop Shop PK Endlers when the emergency's over!
